Ueli’s Tower

Time skip: the party goes to Barathia to stock up on items and magic items before heading to Ueli’s tower
In the tower, the group discovers the extent of Ueli’s craft: botched experiments, living spells, a luxurious bedroom with a bed of hay, an astrolabe that can peer into the exterior of the Universe, extensive research into necromancy, enchantment and talk of a powerful necromantic energy signature appearing.
They continue until faced with some kind of guardian construct
The group fights off the guardians but in the next chamber they bite off more than they can chew. An antimagic golem assaults them and they escape thanks to their boon from the unicorn. The party pushes further in and discovers the forge from which the golems are built. They believe finding the control board for the sentient tower is their best chance of exploring unhindered. They move through the next portal and land on an island in a sea of fire and magma: welcome to the plane of Fire.
The group cures a diseased salamander and discover the device powering the forge and the kitchen. Anoin gets a boon protecting him from fire. The party finally finds the study after wandering into Ueli’s garden area. In the study, they find many answers to their questions as well as a recording of Ueli’s thoughts and feelings in a small dark marble. Noita and he have a heatfelt moment.
Ueli explains that Orso is actually Nathaniel and is responsible for everything. The reactivation of the Hand, the crusades and every conflict imaginable. Ueli tried to outsmart him but was ultimately slayed and brought back as a lich. He was able to protect himself by binding his soul. However, he guesses that Ueli enforced a powerful enchantment over his body, split Ueli’s soul and has the pieces contained/protected inside reanimated dragons. Noita receives the key to the tower and the heartfelt pride of her master. Her enchantment magic might be the only thing that would allow the mortals to sruvive the onslaught of the undead.
The group is resolute to take control of the tower and go forward.
